Napoli are looking for a replacement for Luciano Spalletti, who is stepping down after winning Serie A, and Luis Enrique is one of their leading possibilities.

The president of Napoli, Aurelio De Laurentiis, has intimated that the former Spain and Barcelona coach would prefer a Premier League post.

Luis Enrique has remained unemployed since resigning as Spain’s coach following their World Cup last-16 loss to Morocco in 2022. His most recent term as a club manager was with Barcelona from 2014 to 2017, when he won two La Liga titles, three Copa del Reys, and a Champions League. He has previously worked as a coach with Roma, Celta Vigo, and Barcelona B.
