Independiente del Valle midfielder Moises Caicedo has hopes of joining Manchester United in January.
Caicedo is keen to complete a move to Manchester United for £4.5million plus add ons, according to reports.
The 19-year-old has been tipped as the first arrival at Old Trafford once the January transfer window opens after United saw off interest from RB Leipzig and AC Milan.
Chelsea have stepped up their interest and Newcastle and Brighton are also in the hunt to bring the midfielder to the Premier League, but Ecuadorian club Independiente del Valle will have the final say on Caicedo’s potential switch.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano said: “Still the same situation about Moises Caicedo.
“Man United are in contact with his agents and ‘control’ the situation – the player would love to join [them] and his contract won’t be a problem. Now it’s up to the club. It’s not a done deal.”
