Mohammed Salah Set To Stay At Liverpool As Hopes of Joining Saudi Pro League Fades

Salah will remain at Anfield for a longer period of time, according to Liverpool.

The Reds, who turned down an offer of almost £100 million from Al Ittihad the previous year, were reportedly preparing for a new proposal from a Saudi team.

It is now recognized, however, that Saudi officials’ hopes of obtaining the 31-year-old are dwindling.

His Merseyside contract is set to expire in one year for the Egypt international.

Graeme Souness had predicted that Salah will move to Saudi Arabia this summer, saying he has “turned his head.”

Salah seems content to carry on his seven-year romance with the team.

That’s in spite of the recent altercation he had with Jurgen Klopp on the touchline before he was set to start for West Ham on Saturday in their 2-2 tie.

Then, should Salah address what the two had said at the London Stadium, “there will be fire,” he declared.

After leaving Chelsea to join Liverpool in 2017, the former forward for Roma rose to prominence as one of the greatest players in the world.

Throughout his time with the team, he has won every major award and scored 210 goals in 346 games across all competitions.

Talk Sport confirms Salah has contributed with a massive 24 goals and 13 assists from 41 appearances this season, despite his recent form struggles.
