Manchester United Offered Chance To Sign Barcelona Defender Sergino Dest

Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign Barcelona defender Sergino Dest.

The 21-year-old, who joined Barcelona from Ajax in 2020, has started just six games this season but is expected to be a long-term part of Xavi’s plans.

Barcelona even signed veteran Dani Alves on a short-term contract during the season, and he will sign new terms that will extend his stay in Catalunya beyond the summer.

Sergino Dest has been told that he may find a new club, and the referees are working hard to get him out of Barcelona.

Manchester United, which has a long history of serving the United States, was one of the first clubs to be contacted.

Many at the club are unhappy with both Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot, and new manager Erik ten Hag is considering bringing in a right-back.

Despite the fact that the position is not ideal for Ten Hag, he is interested in signing a contract with Dest, the player who joined Ajax under his tutelage.

Manchester United are thought to be loaning Wan-Bissaka, who has already piqued the curiosity of his previous side Crystal Palace, but other Premier League and European clubs are also interested.

If Manchester United does not want a permanent deal this summer, that may include a loan for Sergino Dest. They were advised that if Barça decided to sell, a temporary transfer would be considered.

According to sources close to the player’s camp, Sergino Dest will ‘jump into the fray’ to play for 10 more Haggans.

Manchester United aren’t the only team interested in the player after being offered him. Chelsea and Tottenham have also been linked, and both clubs are more than just admirers of his achievements.
