Manchester United Consider Isak Hansen-Aarøen Sale Before Transfer Deadline

Isak Hansen-Aaroen, who is close to joining Werder Bremen on transfer deadline day, is expected to become the most recent young player from Manchester United to depart from Old Trafford.

The 19-year-old is in the last six months of his Manchester United contract, and United is fighting to hang onto him.

Erik ten Hag has offered the attacking midfielder a new four-and-a-half-year contract, but the player is frustrated by the lack of first-team appearances. It is also believed that the agreement on the table “does not come close” to those made elsewhere.

Sky Germany reports that Hansen-Aaroen is almost certain to sign a long-term contract with Werder Bremen after United approves the transfer.

Despite frequently practicing with the first team, C was left out of the squad that faced Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup’s third round on Monday due to a string of illness and injury absences, with two goalkeepers starting on the bench.

Shola Shoretire, Joe Hugill, and Rhys Bennett were not used as substitutes against the Latics, giving Willy Kambwala and Omari Forson opportunities off the bench.

Additionally, he was left off of the squad for the match against Newport County in the fourth round, as Forson was once again selected to start at forward.

The Norwegian teenager, who joined United from Tromso in 2020, caught ten Hag’s eye during a pre-season fixture against Leeds in Oslo but is set to leave Old Trafford without making a senior appearance.

He did well,’ ten Hag said last July. ‘He had a good pass on the first goal.

‘You can see that he is very comfortable with the ball. He has good vision and good scanning.
