Man United Must Shell Out £60M To Sign 26-year-old South American Ace

Manchester United will have to table the sum of £60 million to have the attention of Juventus for defender Gelson Bremer.

Since moving to the Italian club from Torino, the Brazilian has made a name for himself. And drawn interest from the Red Devils thanks to his outstanding performances.

According to Fichajes as reported by CaughtOffside, United are hoping to sign the 26-year-old at the end of the season. But it’s unlikely that they will get him for a low price.

It will be interesting to see if the Red Devils can afford the Brazil international at the end of the season. Given that the Italian club have set an asking price of €70 million (£60 million).

Raphael Varane and Harry Maguire are two players who have been linked to leaving the club. So the Premier League giants need to find a strong replacement. The towering defender is unquestionably competent enough for the Premier League. And his presence could strengthen United’s defence.

However, any prospective move might be thwarted by the €70 million asking price. It is likely that the Red Devils will try to work out a more fair agreement with the Italian outfit.

In recent seasons, Bremer has proven his abilities playing Italian football for Torino and Juventus. The chance to play for Man United will be enticing to him. And he might be willing to try out a new challenge.

It is unclear if United will decide to test the Italian club’s resolve with an offer in the upcoming months. But the Red Devils could make him an enticing wage.
