Man United Monitoring Joao Felix Situation At Atletico Madrid

Manchester United are reportedly keeping close tabs on Joao Felix situation at Atletico Madrid, with the attacker allegedly becoming increasingly frustrated at the Wanda Metropolitano.

The 22-year-old is yet to score for Diego Simeone’s side this season, only supplying three assists in 11 outings across all competitions.

Joao Felix goal-scoring difficulties have cost him a starting spot, and he was an unused substitute against Club Brugge in the Champions League last week, despite Atletico needing a goal.

Meanwhile, the Portugal international has only played 19 minutes of football in his team’s last two league games, and the situation is said to have caused friction.

Felix’s relationship with Simeone has reached an all-time low as a result of the coach’s decision to bench him for the Champions League match against Brugge.

According to the report, the Portuguese ‘cannot stand’ his current situation and recently met with his agent Jorge Mendes to explore a possible exit.

A Bola claims that Bola, Manchester United are ‘attentive to the situation,’ with the Red Devils being long-term admirers of the forward.

According to the report, Liverpool, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona have reportedly asked to be kept updated on any developments regarding his future.

Over the summer, there was speculation over the attacker’s future, but Atletico Madrid are said to have made it plain that he would not be sold under any circumstances.

Man United were linked with Felix in the latter stages of his spell at Benfica and are also reported to have contacted Atletico during the recent transfer window for an update on his status.

Wanda Metropolitano’s contract is thought to include a €350m (£304.6m) release clause, putting the La Liga club in a strong position to demand a substantial transfer fee.
