Man United Issue Concern About Olise As Red Devils ‘Prepare Swap Deal Bid’

Manchester United are increasingly worried about Michael Olise’s injuries with the winger set to be sidelined for the remainder of January due to a fresh hamstring issue.

Due to the issue that prevented him from playing in Thursday’s goalless FA Cup draw against Everton, Crystal Palace are worried that Olise won’t be back on the field until February.

Olise has battled with a hamstring injury for the second time this season. He sustained a tear in June while playing an international match for the France under-21s, necessitating surgery.

The forward’s recuperation then took a turn for the worse. And he didn’t play again until November 11. Since then, Olise has participated in every one of Palace’s nine Premier League games, starting seven of them and netting five goals and one assist.

According to Palace manager Roy Hodgson, the new hamstring injury is not in the same location as the previous one.

He explained: “It’s much lower down. It’s nowhere near where he injured himself – it’s not a recurrence. You’ve got to be careful with players.”

However, that might worry United more than it would reassure them. Nevertheless, after playing seven full ninety minutes since his return, the Red Devils will hope that Olise’s most recent problem is just the result of playing too many minutes too soon.

According to The Daily Star as cited by Daily Express, United will make a partial offer involving Aaron Wan-Bissaka in exchange for the £100,000-per-week winger. Wan-Bissaka left Palace to join United for £50 million in 2019.

The Englishman is prepared to leave United when his contract expires in 2025. The 26-year-old defender may be interested in a cash-plus-player deal, as Palace have long been keen in bringing back their academy graduate.
