Man United, Chelsea Among Clubs Interested In Real Madrid Target

Manchester United, Chelsea and a host of other clubs are reportedly willing to sign Girona defender, Miguel Gutiérrez in the summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old is said to be a defensive target for Real Madrid, who have been eyeing his progress for the team mounting an unlikely title charge in Laliga.

As per Madrid Universal, los Blancos are keeping a close eye on Miguel. In fact, it is claimed that the player’s future will be determined in the summer.

A strategic buy-back clause was added when the left-back left Real Madrid in 2022.

This season in La Liga, the 22-year-old prospect has seven goals and seven assists, and he has been a reliable player for the Catalan team.

Miguel is currently playing very well in La Liga, and Los Blancos are thinking of signing him back for a meagre €8 million.

But if Madrid desire to sign Miguel, they’ll need to overcome a good number of opponents.

Some of the biggest names in Europe have reportedly already inquired about Miguel.

Apart from Manchester City, other teams expressing interest in the Spanish left back include Arsenal, Bayern, Chelsea, and most recently, Manchester United.

Madrid could face stiff competition from the Premier League’s biggest clubs during the transfer window due to their considerable financial might. But the Spanish giants have the biggest trick up their sleeve in the form of the buy-back clause.

The course of the story will have to wait and see. But it seems Madrid are eager to lock down their left-back options, with Alphonso Davies reportedly near the top of the team’s wish list.
