Lukasz Fabianski Praises “Special” Manchester City Star Ahead Of Clash

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has been described as a “special” player by West Ham United goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski.

The Hammers will play in a Premier League match tomorrow night at the Etihad. As they try to distance themselves from title challengers Arsenal, City will hope to add another victory to their collection this season.

When the two teams last faced off in the League back in August, Man City prevailed 2-0 thanks to a Haaland brace.

The Polish goalkeeper did start that game, but didn’t experience the wrath of the Norwegian striker as he left the game injured after 29 minutes with the scores tied.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Fabianski gushed over Haaland and claimed he was capable of doing just about anything on a football field.

He stated, “He’s special. He’s got almost everything that you would want in a striker. Obviously, he’s scoring a lot of goals, but he’s working hard for the team as well.

“He’s making great runs, he’s good on the ball, he’s powerful, he can shoot, he can head and he takes penalties.

“I think the only thing he doesn’t do is take free-kicks! But other than that, he almost does everything out there on the pitch.”

Given how impressive Haaland has been in his first Premier League season, it’s understandable why the West Ham player is in awe of him. In just 44 appearances, Haaland has 50 goals and eight assists across all competitions.

Considering Manchester City paid around £51m for him, that’s incredible value for money.
