Lokosa back to Kano Pillars after failed trials in Europe

NPFL leading scorer Junior Lokosa has returned back to Kano Pillars after he was not given a contract by Norwegian club SK Brann.

“Lokosa has resumed training with the team this morning,” Pillars spokesman Idris Malikawa informed SCORENigeria

“The management has advised him on his return to be patient and remain focused on his career.”

Lokosa has scored 19 goals in the 24-week-old NPFL, which earned him a Super Eagles cap against DR Congo before the World Cup in Russia.

He previously tried to get a contract at Bulgarian club PFC Ludogorets, before he tried out with Brann late last month.
