Locatelli snubs Arsenal as he only wants Juventus

Arsenal have reportedly offered Manuel Locatelli a deal worth €3m a season, but the Sassuolo midfielder only wants Juventus.

The Bianconeri are interested in the Italy international and La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the player himself has given the go ahead to enter talks with Juve.

The newspaper claims Locatelli only wants a move to Turin but stressed that Arsenal have delivered an offer for the Neroverdi star.

Locatelli, left Milan after one season on loan with Sassuolo and signed a permanent deal at the Mapei Stadium in July 2019.

Locatelli has impressed in Reggio-Emilia and earned a place with the Italian national team, where he scored two goals in five appearances at the Euros this summer.

His performances have attracted interest from the giants in Italy and abroad, as the report reveals the Gunners are pushing for a move and are ready to compete with Juventus for his signature.

The newspaper claims Arsenal offered a deal worth around €3m a year, but Locatelli didn’t even consider moving to London.

It’s a clear signal of his priorities, as he turns down a lucrative offer from England to show his intentions of staying in Italy and moving to the Allianz Stadium.
