Liverpool Yet To Receive Offers For Midfield Players

Liverpool have reportedly not received offers from Saudi Arabian clubs for both Fabinho and Jordan Henderson despite strong links in the Middle East.

Reds captain Henderson has been widely linked to a move to the Saudi Pro League after becoming a target for a number of clubs, notably Al-Ettifaq. The club recently hired Steven Gerrard, another former Reds teammate, as manager.

Al Ittihad, meanwhile, are claimed to be interested in Fabinho. The 29-year-old Brazil international is reputedly worth around £40 million to the Saudi Pro League champions.

Although there have been conflicting reports regarding whether or not Henderson in particular would consider moving to Saudi Arabia. There have been claims that agents of both players have already spoken with prospective clubs.

According to Liverpool Echo, as of Friday lunchtime, Liverpool have not received any formal contact from potential bidders regarding a possible move away from Anfield for either Henderson or Fabinho.

According to reports from the previous night, Al-Ettifaq had reduced their interest in signing Henderson. Since the Reds wouldn’t let the 33-year-old England international depart on a free transfer.

Henderson’s current contract has two years left. And Liverpool are sure of getting £20 million Al Hilal spent on buying Kalidou Koulibaly, 32, from Chelsea last month during any potential negotiations.
