Protests by Liverpool fans will take place both inside and outside of Anfield beginning this weekend, with supporters upset about a planned hike in ticket prices.
The Spirit of Shankly organization has asked supporters to “make the club listen” over the decision to implement the price increases, with the first round of demonstrations planned for this weekend’s Premier League encounter.
Fans have also been advised to refrain from spending money at the stadium in order to send a message to the club’s owners.
Liverpool irritated its fans when they announced the rises at the end of last month, with prices set to climb by 3% next season.

Ticket holders will also face inflation-linked increases in the following two campaigns.
Adult general admission tickets during the 2026-27 season would cost between £1.25 and £1.75 each game, up from the current price range of £39 to £61.
Meanwhile, adult season tickets, which presently range from £713 to £904, will rise by £21.50 to £27 next season, amounting to up to £1.42 each game.
The club’s owners, Fenway Sports Group (FSG), had previously frozen ticket prices throughout the ground for eight of the previous ten years, and fans are now concerned about Liverpool’s “direction” and the “kind of football club” it may become as a result of the decision.
Several prices would be locked as a result of the hikes, including senior, local, and junior tickets, while every ticket price group will remain less expensive.
“It’s not just about the money. It’s about direction; it’s about whether Liverpool wants to remain a football club that is rooted in its people or one that sees them as a money stream to be pushed year after year. What happens now will have an impact on future supporters.
