Liverpool Could Wrap Up Alexis Mac Allister’s Deal This Week

Liverpool are set to complete the transfer of Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder, Alexis Mac Allister. With deal reportedly set to be wrapped up this week.

Mirror Football reported that the Reds and Brighton have reached an agreement in principle over a sum that would pay for the contract clause allowing him to depart. And it is rumored to be less than £60 million.

And with personal terms expected to be finalized this week. Manager Jurgen Klopp is growing more optimistic about making his first major summer addition before the end of the week.

With clubs from all over Europe interested in the 24-year-old midfielder who made a name for himself during the World Cup in Qatar. The signing of the World Cup superstar would be considered something of a coup for Liverpool.

The agreement is close to being completed, according to his family members back in Argentina. And his father, Carlos who serves as his agent, flew into the UK over the weekend to finalize the details.

Mac Allister himself gave a heartfelt message to Brighton supporters over the weekend. Appearing to bid farewell to the team where he first made his reputation. Hinting that he is about to join another one.
