Barcelona president Joan Laporta has publicly supported head coach Hansi Flick, sending a strong statement regarding the club’s future ahead of the impending presidential elections.
Laporta and Flick have had a good chemistry together from the start.
Although some critics have questioned if Flick’s public remarks came at a delicate moment, given the impending elections, both men have publicly acknowledged their good understanding.
Nevertheless, the German has never disguised his joy at the club.
According to AS, Flick recently spoke about his time in Barcelona and said he was extremely happy with his workplace and wanted stability.

“It’s a pleasure to work here. We have a fantastic president, staff, players, and fans, and this is a phenomenal moment.
“I am very happy here and I want to stay for many years. It was a dream for me to coach Barça.“
Laporta’s Praise
Laporta didn’t let such statements go unanswered.
According to Barca Universal, the Barcelona president went one step further by making a pledge that directly links Flick’s future to his own, interpreting the coach’s comments as an unmistakable sign of dedication.
“If I become president again, he will be coach for as long as he wants. He knows the club very well and will have more experience.
“He didn’t want more years, but he is the ideal coach for Barça at this time and thanks to him we are enjoying a very sweet moment.”
