Before France’s World Cup quarterfinal match against England, Olivier Giroud cited Kylian Mbappe as the best attacker he has ever played with and discussed their “bromance.”

In the weekend matchup between Les Bleus and Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions, Giroud is expected to start alongside Mbappe in the French assault.
Giroud scored in the round-of-16 victory over Poland to break Thierry Henry’s all-time goalscoring record for France, while Mbappe is currently leading the Golden Boot charts at this World Cup, with five goals.
