Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has heaped praises on one Liverpool player for his incredible display in the Reds 2-1 win over Fulham in the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg on Wednesday night.
With a goal from Willian in the 19th minute to make it 1-0, the visitors startled the Reds.
But in the second half, Klopp’s side picked up the pace as goals from Cody Gakpo and Curtis Jones in the space of three minutes changed the course of the match.
With this, Liverpool will go into the second leg at Craven Cottage with a 2-1 lead.
According to SportBible, following the game, Klopp showered young Conor Bradley with praise. Bradley started at right-back after Trent Alexander-Arnold’s injury.
Bradley made an impressive cameo during Liverpool’s 2-0 FA Cup victory over Arsenal last week.
What Did Klopp Say About Bradley’s Impressive Performance?
Regarding the 20-year-old’s capacity to sleep well after the game, Klopp stated: “He will. I’m not sure he’ll make it home, probably he will fall asleep in the dressing room. Exceptional.
“What a boy. Fantastic character, real talent, top potential – and he’s in the right team because everybody loves him and respects him and wants him to succeed, it’s really nice.
“So yes, that was a really great game, with all the difficulties you have in football. It was super hard, super tough.
“He was involved in the goal we conceded, falling over the ball or whatever. But as a team it was obvious that we caused ourselves some problems against a really compact defending from Fulham.

“We played a lot around and got stuck on the wing, no fluidity there and we had to change that and play more in the half-spaces.”
On January 21, Liverpool will return to Premier League action when they visit the Vitality Stadium to play Bournemouth.
