Juventus Set To Sign Southampton Star After Medical Booked

Juventus are reportedly on the verge of signing Southampton midfielder, Carlos Alcaraz on loan as medical examinations are currently being prepared ahead of the move.

According to journalist Alfredo Pedullà as reported by Sport Witness, the Serie A club began ‘secret’ negotiations on Tuesday morning.

The midfielder is now set to join the Old Lady on a loan with an option to buy for €30 million after reaching an agreement with Southampton which is ‘one step away’ from completion.

In order to provide Massimiliano Allegri with a midfielder for the second half of the season, the Italian side have been looking around.
They attempted to sign Fiorentina star, Giacomo Bonaventura and Roberto Pereyra of Udinese yesterday, but were unsuccessful.

The player has given Juve his approval, and the two sides are getting closer to an agreement. In order to come to a loan with a buyout option with the Championship team, “work is underway.” The deal will potentially cost €35 million in total.
