Juventus reportedly preparing to offload Ronaldo next summer

Juventus are prepared to offload Cristiano Ronaldo next summer.

Sport says the 35-year-old, who joined the Serie A champions from Real Madrid in 2018, is currently on £28million a year in Turin, five times more than his highest-paid team-mate Paulo Dybala.

Juventus are keen to get the wages off their books, with the Italian giants instead looking to sell the Portuguese star, rather than offer him an extension to his deal which currently runs until June 2022.

Problems on the pitch, too, are also being taken into the equation when it comes to selling one of the world’s biggest names.

Ronaldo scored again at the weekend during Juventus’ 1-1 draw at Lazio, his sixth of the campaign to date, but he has come in for criticism of late from boss Andrea Pirlo.
