Jack Grealish Sends Aaron Ramsdale Emotional Message As David Raya To Miss Brentford

Manchester City star Jack Grealish has sent Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale an emotional message as the international break begins to come to a close. Ramsdale has endured a difficult start to the 2023/24 campaign, losing his starting spot to summer signing David Raya in the last couple of months.

Despite this, he was still called up to Gareth Southgate’s England squad for fixtures against Malta and North Macedonia, now taking to social media, writing his teammates a message. “What a week it’s been with the boys,” the 25-year-old wrote on Instagram.

“Qualification completed!” “I’m going to miss the boys for a few months (heart).”

Citizens winger Grealish responded with a heartfelt remark in the comments area, writing: “Nahhhh what a guy man (blue heart) (blue heart) (blue heart) the best.” Grealish and his Manchester City teammates presently lead the Premier League by one point above Liverpool and Arsenal.

The Gunners’ next encounter is an away trip to Brentford this weekend, which Raya will be unable to attend due to his loan from the Bees. Ramsdale will so seek to impress Arteta, who has stated unequivocally that the former Sheffield United goalkeeper has a future at the Emirates Stadium.

“First and foremost, my door is open to speak about any player,” the Spaniard stated earlier this month when questioned about Ramsdale possibly leaving in January. “We simply want the best for our players, and we try to do so, and we are aware of the influence we can have on them – sometimes positively, sometimes negatively.”
