“God loves a trier” – Bolasie makes fun of his failed ‘fake rabona’

Everton‘s Yannick Bolasie attempted a rabona fake in yesterday’s match against West Ham United and didn’t quite pull it off, however that won’t stop him trying in the future.

Bolasie has shown that he has the ability to deceive defenders with his nimble footwork and silky skills in the past.

The Congolese international, who moved from Crystal Palace to The Toffees for £25m over the summer, possesses great flair and has insisted that if you don’t try it, then it won’t happen.

Bolasie has soon established a productive relationship with Everton’s main striker Romelu Lukaku and the pair combined yet again today for the game’s opener.

The 27-year-old showed aggression and hunger to follow in a Seamus Coleman shot before scooping the ball across the face of goal for Lukaku to put his head on, with Adrian already committed.

Lukaku set up Ross Barkley in the 76th minute, who delivered a firm first time finish for his first goal since the opening day of the season.

French-born Bolasie has now scored one goal and has claimed four assists in his first ten league games for Everton.
