Gbolahan Salami clubless as Kazakhstan side FC Irtysh Pavlodar terminates his contract

Former Super Eagles forward Gbolahan Salami has been rendered clubless following the decision of Kazakh side Irtysh to terminate his contract six months after his signing from Finnish side KuPS.

Salami signed for the Kazakhstan Premier League outfit in January for free after the expiration of his contract with KuPS where he spent two seasons and scored a total of 23 league goals in 57 games.

In Kazakhstan, he scored four goals from 17 games but the club decided against retaining him on the 3rd of August, Owngoalnigeria.com exclusively gathered from the media of the club.

27 year old Salami played for the Nigeria U20 and 23 team before making the step up to the main team where he scored three goals in thirteen international games for the Super Eagles.

His next line of move will be made known in the coming days with reports linking him with a possible move to the Middle East or Far East where he is has been proposed to teams.
