Ahead of the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) GW20, numerous managers put their hopes on Mohamed Salah and Heung-min Son as they faced Newcastle United and Bournemouth respectively before jetting off for the African Cup of Nations and the Asian Cup.
In all sincerity, both players did not disappoint those who trusted them with the captain armband. While Son produced 9 points, Salah excited his owners with 16 points, just two points adrift of the Player of the Week, Cole Palmer, who plundered 18 points having notched two goals and an assist against Luton Town.
Another popular captaincy pick, Ollie Watkins made his backers proud following his two assists in Aston Villa 3-2 win over Burnley, thereby delivering 8 points.
In the absence of Erling Haaland, Manchester City are still producing the goods and their assets keep boosting the tallies of managers who owned them.
Phil Foden notched two assists in City’s 2-0 win over Sheffield United. Rodri and Julian Alvarez got the end of those assists.

It was a ‘disappointing’ week for the owners of Dominic Solanke who blanked in Bournemouth’s 3-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur. The forward had scored in each of the Cherries’ last three matches.
West Ham United played out a goal-less draw against Brighton and Hove Albion. With the owners of Jarrod Bowen left to bite their fingers throughout the encounter. With the absence of Mohamed Kudus and Lucas Paqueta, the Englishman failed to produce an attacking return.
Though, Alphonso Areola produced an outstanding display which was rewarded with 11 points. Making him the highest pointer among the goalkeepers in this GW.

No manager is entitled to win in two consecutive GWs. So, any reward of such would be passed down to the next manager in line. This is necessary to make winnings go round.
Net points for the week will be used in picking winners, rather than gross points.
Also Note: Each player is entitled to only ONE team. Therefore, payments will be denied from players with more than one team, and passed to next manager.
