With five gameweeks already completed in the 22/23 Fantasy Premier League season, various league tables are already taking shape. August saw Erling Haaland (£11.9m) score back-to-back hat-tricks for City.
Back-to-back hat-tricks and 17-point hauls for Haaland has catapulted the Norwegian 20 points ahead of any other FPL asset after just five Gameweeks.
It’s a phenomenal start to life in the Premier League and the questions now are over whether he can sustain anything like his usual rate of returns.
Elsewhere across the city, we’ve seen the resurgence of Man United, which began after their victory against Liverpool. Man United have now won three straight matches for the first time in a while.
Meanwhile, a brace of assists for Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) on Wednesday. The Egyptian now has five attacking returns in as many Gameweeks, averaging a healthy 7.0 points per match.
Ironically, many of his owners will still be unpleased after what is a very poor beginning to the season.
Arsenal are top of the Premier League table with the only 100% record in the division, and many in-form assets. It remains to be seen how long that will last for the Gunners.
We now turn our attention to GW6, with its deadline slated for Saturday 3rd September, at 11:00 WAT.
The iSoccer August Mini-League Recap
Gameweek 5 brings about the close of the first monthly iSoccer mini-league, with 8 more monthly leagues to go.
The August mini-league drew in 87 managers from all parts of the country, all jostling for the top 5 weekly positions. All the while, keeping an eye on the main prize – Top 3 spot for the August League.
Although, some by joining in late, won’t be regarded for the top 3 spot to create a fair playing ground. Furthermore, to curb similar issues later on, the September mini-league will be locked from new entries after a week.
iSoccer had earlier stated that the top 3 managers at the end of the month will get N10,000 each. Here are the lucky 3 for the month of August:

The September Mini-League
Following on from the success of the August mini-league, the September mini-league will officially open today.
The top 5 managers still receive recharge vouchers each week from iSoccer, while the top 3 managers at the end of the month receive N10,000 each.
