A football fan says England must clinch the World Cup or he would have wasted his time spent on making the Three Lions crest out of stones on a beach.
After weeks of preparation and eight and a half hours of work, Toby Clark, a resident of Lowestoft, Suffolk finished the badge in time for Wednesday’s tournament opener.

According to the BBC Sport, the artist joked that his efforts would have been in vain if the team’s football players did not come home with the 18-carat gold trophy. England’s competition begins at 21:00 in Dallas against Croatia.
“Whenever I get the opportunity at World Cups or Euros, I always do an England crest,” he said.
“They are going to win, obviously there’s no other option – I want us to bring it home, otherwise I’ve wasted my time.
