Real Madrid have reportedly reached a transfer agreement with Como to sell Nico Paz after activating their back-back clause on the player from the same club.
The deal was largely initiated by the player’s own desires. Paz has been quite at ease in Italy, and it was obvious that he wanted to continue accumulating minutes and experience under Cesc Fàbregas.
The club’s management is keeping an eye on one of their most potential assets in spite of the sale. The player’s contract now has a buy-back clause thanks to Florentino Pérez’s club.
The Chamartín club are able to keep complete control over the future of the attacking midfielder thanks to this approach, which is typical in the management of Madrid’s academy prospects. His return to the Santiago Bernabéu will be assured if he does well in Serie A.

Transfer specialist, Fabrizio Romano reported that Como will meet Madrid’s €60 million valuation in what is quite a stunning deal for the Italian side.

Cesc Fabregas and Mirwan Suwarso, crucial again in the last 24h to get it done — also with Nico’s approval.

Paz’s Massive Impact For Como
The Argentina star handed the team the financial backing they needed to sign him after helping Como to a historic top-four finish in Serie A and Champions League qualifying with 12 league goals and six assists.
The move occurred just days after rumours surfaced that Real Madrid had formally notified Como that they intended to exercise Paz’s €9 million buy-back clause and then sell the midfield player to another team.
Additionally, Romano claims the agreement contains “a heavy sell-on clause,” which will enable Madrid to profit even more from Paz when he inevitably departs Como in the future for an even higher fee.
