Dele Alli Back To Everton As Besiktas Stint Becomes A Nightmare

England international, Dele Alli has reportedly flown back to Everton following his injury on loan at Turkish outfit, Besiktas.

After falling out of favor at Everton, the England international moved to the Turkish club last summer on loan.

But with just two goals in 13 league games, his tenure in the Superlig has been a complete disaster.

And since he was given permission to return to England after suffering an injury, things have gotten even worse.

According to talkSPORT, Alli needs specialized care from a UK consultant. While his friendship with Senol Gunes, the Besiktas team’s manager, is already at an all-time low.

After failing to persuade the manager, the midfielder has been sidelined and has not played since February 26.

Only a month ago, Gunes attacked Alli after seeing photos of him with Kim Kardashian’s baby after Arsenal’s Europa League loss to Sporting.

He took aim at the 26-year old by saying: “Dele Alli, whom we have allowed [a break], has not come yet. It must be raining, we are trying to get news.”

Alli made an attempt to clarify the situation on Instagram. He adamantly stated that he had been given permission to see a doctor.

He wrote: “Hey guys, just had loads of messages so wanted to clear something up.

“The club gave me permission to attend a doctor’s appointment today. I’m due back in training tomorrow as normal.”

The former Tottenham player hasn’t played for Besiktas since getting subbed off against Antalyaspor before half-time.

He hasn’t even been named to the matchday squad since then. His own supporters even booed him off the field in December.

We will have to wait and see if Alli returns to Everton, where he has a contract through 2024.
