Club Strike Agreement With Chelsea For Star Player

Crystal Palace have reportedly reached full agreement to sign Chelsea defender, Lewis Hall on a season-long loan after all formalities were agreed.

According to Football Insider, Chelsea intend to offer the 18-year-old a new contract upon his return to his home club. There is not likely to be an option to buy included in the agreement.

Despite the Blues discussing a contract extension for Hall this summer, those discussions have been put off until next year. Hall’s current deal lasts until 2026.

Before traveling across London for medical examinations and final sign-offs, the full-back is awaiting word that legal documents have been approved.

Following Conor Gallagher’s incredibly successful loan season there two seasons ago, the west Londoners believe Selhurst Park is the greatest option for his growth.

Although the Eagles’ transfer window has been rather quiet thus far. They still intend to bring in three more players before it the window officially closes on September 2.

With Marc Cucurella, Ben Chilwell, and Ian Maatsen all competing for a starting slot at left defense for Chelsea. It was imperative to consider Hall’s loan option.

Following the likes of Ngolo Kante, Edouard Mendy, and Matteo Kovacic, who all departed the club this summer. Hall will be the most recent player to leave Stamford Bridge this season.

The rising star has made 12 starts for Chelsea’s first squad while contributing just one assist. Every level of the England junior system has given him a cap. And most recently, the Under-19s gave him his third.
