Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi ‘Approached By Two Saudi Clubs’

Callum Hudson-Odoi is reportedly the latest Chelsea player to be targeted by multiple clubs in Saudi Arabia.

The Blues are eager to improve their FFP position before June 30, when the accounts for the current season are calculated, which compels them to make an array of cuts.

Mateo Kovacic, Mason Mount, and Kai Havertz could all leave Stamford Bridge in the future, but a route out of the club have already been provided with the Saudi Pro League.

N’Golo Kante signed for champions Al-Ittihad on Tuesday evening, turning down the chance to extend his time in West London.

Chelsea’s hierarchy have also met with appropriate officials to discuss a variety of potential deals, with it being speculated that up to three Chelsea players could be moved for a fee.

Edouard Mendy, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Hakim Ziyech are all on the verge of joining different squads in Saudi Arabia, with Chelsea cutting their pay cost in the process.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, two teams in the aforementioned league are also interested in signing Hudson-Odoi.

The former England international has just returned to his parent club after a poor loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen, where he contributed just one goal and one assist in 21 appearances.

Chelsea will look into bids from elsewhere after Leverkusen turned down the chance to sign the winger on a permanent basis.

Romano adds that it is uncertain whether the 22-year-old would consider moving to Saudi Arabia at this point in his career, and that talks with the player are yet to begin.

However, it appears like Hudson-Odoi, who has 16 goals and 22 assists in 126 Chelsea appearances, will be able to pursue that option.
