Chelsea winger Estevao is emerging as one of the brightest young talents in world football, with his recent performances for Brazil sparking Ballon d’Or talk.
The 18-year-old scored in Brazil’s 1-1 draw with Tunisia on Tuesday, marking his second goal in as many international fixtures.
Estevao has now scored five goals in five senior starts, closing in fast on Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr, who has eight goals in 44 caps for Brazil.
Tunisia manager Sami Trabelsi praised the teenager as a “genius” and suggested he has the potential to be among the world’s elite players in the coming years.
Trabelsi added that if Estevao continues to perform and win titles at club or international level, he could even challenge for the Ballon d’Or, reports Standard.

Manager Carlo Ancelotti explained the penalty decision was designed to ease pressure on the young star, allowing him to build confidence.
