Casemiro is expected to be officially unveiled as a Manchester United player before the club’s Premier League match against Liverpool at Old Trafford on Monday.

The Red Devils confirmed on Friday evening that they have struck an agreement with Real Madrid for the signing of the Brazilian international, who is likely to sign a four-year contract with a five year option.

According to Italian writer Fabrizio Romano, Casemiro has finally finished his medical with the Premier League team but is awaiting his visa to make his debut.

The Brazilian will not play against Liverpool on Monday, but he is expected to make his Premier League debut against Southampton at St Mary’s next weekend.

Casemiro will bid goodbye to Real Madrid fans at a press conference on Monday before heading to Manchester, according to Marca.

According to the report, the South American would be introduced to the Old Trafford fans before the Premier League match against Liverpool.

What Number Will Casemiro Wear At Man United?

Casemiro is expected to wear the number 18 shirt for Manchester United, which has previously been worn by Paul Scholes, Ashley Young, and Bruno Fernandes.

The 30-year-old will be in the stands for the match against Jurgen Klopp’s side, with both teams searching for their first Premier League victory of the 2022-23 season.

Casemiro made 48 appearances in all competitions for Carlo Ancelotti’s team last season, as they won La Liga, the Champions League, and the Spanish Super Cup.

Since arriving at the Bernabeu, the South American has won three league titles, one Copa del Rey, and five Champions League league titles, but he is looking for a new challenge.
