Casemiro In Contact With Two MLS Clubs Over Transfer

Casemiro has reportedly been contacted by LA Galaxy and Inter Miami about signing the Manchester United midfield player despite neither Major League Soccer (MLS) team having a designated player spot open.

It would be against league rules to pay him more than £600,000, which is the maximum wage budget charge.

The Manchester Evening News revealed that Casemiro and United had decided to waive a condition in his contract that may have prohibited him from starting one of their remaining Premier League games, which sparked their interest.

This summer, the 34-year-old is scheduled to depart United. Earlier this season, the team chose not to extend his contract.

But if he had started 35 games this season, his contract would have been automatically extended by another year.

With seven games left, Casemiro presently has 28 starts; if his run of 14 straight starts lasted until the end of the season, he would reach that point.

Now that both parties have agreed that the provision wasn’t essential because he was leaving. Casemiro is reportedly nearing an agreement on terms for a summer transfer, and plans are already on to find a replacement.

MLS Clubs Line Up For Casemiro

Inter Miami and LA Galaxy are interested in the Brazil international, according to The Athletic. According to ESPN, Casemiro has been contacted by both MLS teams in recent days.,

The report asserts that no clubs have yet to submit formal offers. Another club reportedly interested in the midfield player is Al Ittihad.

According to reports, the Saudi Pro League side are keeping tabs on the situation. Casemiro is touted to take Fabinho’s place in Jeddah since his contract expires this summer.
