CARLO ANCELOTTI CRIED WHEN I JOINED MANCHESTER UNITED FROM REAL MADRID-CASEMIRO

Casemiro, a midfielder for Manchester United, disclosed that he was on the verge of leaving Real Madrid to join the Premier League team. Prior to his scheduled transfer to United, the Brazil international told reporters that he was on the verge of staying with the Liga giants after Madrid head coach Ancelotti broke down in tears upon seeing him in his office. The Brazil international transferred to Old Trafford last season.

Casemiro, a midfielder for Manchester United, disclosed that Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti sobbed upon learning of his transfer to the Premier League team.

Casemiro had a great career in Spain, earning three league crowns and five UEFA Champions League trophies over his nine years with the Liga heavyweights.

The Brazil international helped United win the Carabao Cup and place in the top three last season after moving to Old Trafford for an alleged £60 million.

“I haven’t told this to anyone before,” Casemiro told El Chiringuito de Jugones. “I only doubted my move to Manchester once.   and remember it was a Friday afternoon and it [the deal] was all but done except for my signature. People knew that it was done.
“I went to speak with Ancelotti. and went into his office and he already knew. then opened the door and when I turned [towards him], Ancelotti was crying. I told him: ‘You can’t be crying. Anyone but you’.
“He told me: ‘Case, I don’t know why I’m crying, but I’m very fond of you and I don’t want you to leave.’ That was the moment [I doubted]…”
