Brazilian Ronaldo casts doubt over Neymar’s future at PSG

Brazilian Ronaldo has cast doubt over Neymar’s future at Paris Saint-Germain by saying ‘I do not know if he is happy here in Paris or not’.

Neymar has long been touted for a move back to Spain but has admitted he is tired of the speculation surrounding his future amid links to Real Madrid.

Neymar, who is currently working towards full fitness for the World Cup in Russia, picked up the prize for Ligue 1 player of the season on Sunday night, and was presented with the award by fellow countryman and former Real Madrid striker Ronaldo.

The two-time World Cup winner praised what his fellow Brazilian has done this season but also added more fuel to the speculation that Neymar could leave PSG.

‘Neymar has given France plenty, but also Ligue 1,’ Ronaldo told beIN Sports.

‘I think he brings a lot. Not only his talent, but his brand. Everybody speaks about PSG and the league all over the world. He is a very good player, and everybody talks about him.

‘Neymar has been here for a year and he was unlucky with his injury.

‘I do not know if he is happy here in Paris or not, but life goes on. We need to wait and see what happens.’

Neymar has scored 28 goals in 30 appearances since his world-record £198million transfer from Barcelona last summer.
