Bayern Munich ‘Cancel Flight’ To Meet Daniel Levy Sparking Harry Kane Tottenham Transfer Theory

Harry Kane may be making the move to Germany to Bayern Munich this summer but according to reports in Germany a flight bringing Bayern bosses to London for talks was cancelled.

This summer, Bayern Munich has been widely linked with a deal for Tottenham striker Harry Kane. And those close to the Bundesliga heavyweights have made no secret of their ambition to conclude a deal before the summer transfer window shuts.

Many people behind the scenes, whether presently or previously associated to the German club, have spoken out about the transfer drama, which has irritated the Tottenham management.

Spurs do not want to lose their all-time leading scorer, but if they do not sell this summer, he will be available on a free transfer next summer, with his current deal expiring in 2024.

Chairman Daniel Levy is hesitant to even discuss selling England captain Wayne Rooney for less than £100 million, although sources in Germany claim Bayern Munich is feeling “increasingly confident” of striking a deal for the frontman.

According to Bild journalist Christian Falk, a deadline of Sunday, August 6 – when Spurs take on Shakhtar Donetsk in their final pre-season friendly – had been set by Bayern bosses. Bayern officials were also reported to be travelling to London for talks with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy on Friday – Kane’s 30th birthday.

However, it appears that plan to travel to London has been scuppered. According to Bild, the flight due to take Bayern bosses from Germany to London was cancelled late on Thursday night for unknown reasons.
