Moment of frustration
Yamal’s reply made it plain that he was dissatisfied with the way the night had gone.
The booking alone frustrated him, knowing how vital the following encounter would be, but his unhappiness was compounded when Flick decided to replace him late in the game.
Yamal was extremely irritated as he walked away, and when he arrived at the bench, he made unmistakable gestures expressing his dissatisfaction.
Barcelona now faces the next European test without one of their most potent attacking weapons, and Yamal leaves Frankfurt learning that on-field rage can and should be controlled.
