Barcelona have added Liverpool defender Joel Matip to their January shopping list.
Sport says Barcelona are interested in signing Matip in January.
The Cameroonian is on coach Ronald Koeman’s shortlist with the Catalans keen to bring in an experienced defender in the winter transfer window as a short-term option to bolster their defensive options.
Shkodran Mustafi (Arsenal) and Antonio Rudiger (Chelsea) are also mentioned with Barcelona seeking a loan move until next summer.
However, the report states that Liverpool don’t want to send Matip out on loan in January, meaning Barca will likely have to look elsewhere.
