Aubameyang Clarifies Arteta Comments Going Viral On Social Media

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has sought to clarify statements in which he claimed Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, was incapable of managing “big players.”

The Gabonese striker was kicked out of Emirates Stadium in January 2022 following a breach of club discipline. He also said that the man in charge in north London is incapable of coaching “big characters.”

Shortly after completing a transfer to Barcelona, Aubameyang, who is now playing in England again for Chelsea, was seen on camera making fun of Arteta.

What Did Aubameyang Say?

Aubameyang took to social media to address the comments: “Aware there is a video out that was recorded just after I arrived at Barca.

“At the time I still had a lot of bad feelings in me. Arsenal are doing great things this season and I wish all my old guys well, just not on November 6,” he tweeted.

With Gabriel Jesus now leading the line for them this season, Arteta has led Arsenal to the top of the Premier League standings.

Meanwhile, Chelsea has climbed up to fourth after collecting back-to-back victories under new manager Graham Potter.
