Arsenal move to complete £35m deal for Xhaka before Euro 2016

Arsenal want their £35million swoop for Granit Xhaka completed before Euro 2016 as they aim to move quickly ahead of the summer’s transfer window, according to Daily Mail.

As reported by the paper last month, the Gunners are in advanced talks with Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder.

All parties are confident the deal will be completed, indeed Xhaka has told pals he expects to be at the Emirates next season.

And Arsenal aim to accelerate their move for the Switzerland international; wanting it complete before Euro 2016.

Arsene Wenger is aware rival club’s could hijack his move for Xhaka, particularly if he impresses in France.

And the Gunners boss wants to avoid that possibility by concluding an early deal for the Swiss midfielder.

Leicester midfielder N’Golo Kante has also been linked with a move to the Emirates following his impressive debut season in the Premier League.

But it appears Arsenal have decided to go with Xhaka despite his lack of experience in English football.
