Ancelotti Addresses Bellingham’s Injury Worry Ahead El Clasico

Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti has indicated that Jude Bellingham is fit and available for his team against Barcelona following a knock in los Blancos’ 2-1 win against Braga in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.

On Tuesday night, Madrid’s 20-year-old midfielder sealed the victory once more, following his strike from the edge of the box to defeat a determined Braga.

After winning in Portugal, Madrid are almost guaranteed a spot in the knockout stages. They will probably need one more point from their remaining three group games to go to the round of 16.

Ancelotti was questioned about Bellingham’s injury after the whistle. And the Italian gave a positive update to fans who were worried that the Englishman may miss what is widely regarded as the biggest football match in the world.

“He is ok. His adductors are a bit charged because the pitch was a bit soft. But nothing special. He will recover,” Ancelotti told Movistar as reported by 90min.

“He is ok. He is a bit tired, like everybody else. But that’s normal.”

The youngster’s withdrawal appears to have been a precautionary move, according to Ancelotti’s remarks. Which gives Madrid tremendous momentum as they attempt to build on their impressive domestic season start.

Bellingham has been crucial to the team’s ascent to the top of La Liga. They have won eight of their ten games and accrued 25 points.

However, Madrid’s next challenge comes against Barca, who are only one point behind them and are yet to lose.
