Arsenal’s long wait for Premier League glory is finally over after Mikel Arteta guided the club to their first league title in 22 years.
The Gunners secured the trophy with one match remaining, ending three consecutive seasons as runners-up.

The title victory also brings a huge financial reward, with Arsenal expected to receive the biggest Premier League payment in the club’s history.
Premier League merit payments are distributed based on final league positions, with champions earning the highest share.
Last season, each league position was reportedly worth around £2.6 million.
That meant champions Liverpool received approximately £53.1 million in merit payments, while bottom-placed Southampton earned £2.6 million.
Arsenal Also Earn Huge Champions League Revenue
By finishing first this season, Arsenal are expected to collect a similar figure, potentially exceeding previous records due to increased broadcasting and commercial revenue across the league.
The club’s financial success does not end there. Arsenal have reportedly already earned more than £120 million from their impressive run to the Champions League final this season.
Winning the European competition in Budapest later this month would significantly increase those earnings even further, adding another major financial boost to the club’s growing revenues.
Players and supporters celebrated wildly after clinching the title, with scenes continuing into the early hours around the Emirates Stadium, reports Standard.
Arsenal will officially lift the Premier League trophy after their final league match against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Crystal Palace are also expected to give Arsenal a guard of honour before kick-off, recognising Arteta’s side for their remarkable achievement this season.
