Liverpool have unveiled the first images of a permanent memorial honouring late forward Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva following their tragic deaths last summer.
Jota, aged 28, and Silva, 25, died in a car accident in Zamora, Spain, on July 3, sending shockwaves across the football world.

The tribute, titled “Forever 20,” features a flowing heart design inspired by Jota’s iconic goal celebration, alongside the brothers’ shirt numbers, 20 and 30.
Liverpool also confirmed the memorial will include lyrics from Jota’s famous fan chant, traditionally sung during the 20th minute of matches at Anfield.
The sculpture’s stone base has been created using recycled tributes, flowers, scarves, and messages left outside Anfield by supporters after the heartbreaking news.
The club described the memorial as a celebration of the brothers’ lives, their bond, and the love shared by fans, teammates, and family members worldwide.
The tribute will be permanently located on 97 Avenue outside Anfield, although Liverpool have not yet confirmed an official unveiling date, reports BBC Sports.
Jota joined Liverpool from Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2020 and scored 65 goals in 182 appearances, helping the Reds win the Premier League, FA Cup, and two League Cups during his successful spell on Merseyside.
