Lamine Yamal’s Reaction Revealed As Spain Fans Slammed For Shocking Chant

The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) denounced supporters who chanted anti-Muslim slogans during Spain’s 0-0 draw with Egypt in Barcelona on Tuesday night.

During the first 10 minutes of the match, elements of the home crowd at Espanyol’s RCDE Stadium were heard chanting while jumping up and down: “bote, bote, bote musulman el que no bote” – which translates to “jump, jump, jump, whoever doesn’t jump is a Muslim”.

a message advising spectators against xenophobic statements and songs appeared on the screen, and the stadium announcer made a similar appeal. The notice appeared as follows: “We remind you the legislation to prevent violence in sport forbids and punishes the active participation in violent, xenophobic, homophobic or racist acts.”

The announcement to cease the song was welcomed with whistles from Spanish fans, who disobeyed the order and continued singing the same chant shortly after halftime.

According to The Athletic, the RFEF condemned the chanting and directed that messages condemning all sorts of violence on a football pitch be sent across the stadium’s speakers.

Spain’s head coach, Luis de la Fuente, a top 20 manager, blasted the behavior of Spanish fans who sang the song. “It is intolerable,” he stated. “Violent people utilize football to create a place for themselves. They must be separated from society, identified, and kept as far away as possible.”
