According to Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid is willing to spend ‘tens of millions’ to sign a top-level Premier League midfielder.
Rodri of Manchester City has been the key goal for months.
Notably, the Spaniard’s contract runs until 2027, but it is understood that he is willing to return to Spain.
Despite his previous association with Atletico Madrid, it is not considered as a significant impediment. Financially, however, any transaction would require a fee of around €100 million.
Then there is Enzo Fernandez.
Along with Rodri, Real Madrid is considering different options, one of whom being Enzo Fernández.
Interestingly, the athlete has revealed that he is open to a trade.

As a result, his current status at Chelsea has not been fully stable, and a change of scenery may appeal to him.
However, Madrid has internal issues, since his strong personality and previous on-field conflicts with players such as Vinicius Jr. and Kylian Mbappe are factors that the club must carefully consider.
Furthermore, his price is projected to reach €100 million, making the transaction difficult.
The third option
The third possibility on the list is Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton.
Compared to the other two, Wharton is a different type of investment: younger, less proven, but with enormous upside.
The English midfielder is believed to be interested in joining a Champions League club, which may benefit Real Madrid.
However, there are concerns about his experience at the highest level because he has not yet been repeatedly challenged in high-pressure club contests.
