Mohamed Salah could reportedly be lured away from Liverpool by Major League Soccer teams San Diego and Chicago Fire following his public outburst over the weekend.
The 33-year-old said that Anfield had abandoned him, casting doubt on his future there.
Football stars including Lionel Messi, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, and David Beckham have all moved to the US.
Messi inspired Inter Miami in winning their first MLS Cup over the weekend, as they defeated Thomas Muller’s Vancouver Whitecaps 3-1.

Salah was left out of the starting lineup for the third time in a row by Arne Slot in Saturday’s 3-3 draw with Leeds United. He might be the next international star to come to the United States.
The Egyptian forward’s success with Liverpool has made him one of Africa’s most prominent sporting figures.
In the last 48 hours, rumours over Salah’s future have surfaced, with Saudi Arabia’s interest in him set to return following Al-Ittihad’s unsuccessful £150 million bid for him in 2023.
MLS Sides Eyeing Move For Salah
The Athletic as claimed by The Mirror, moving to the US is not completely out of the question.
One of the teams that would be a good fit for Salah is San Diego FC, which is owned by Egyptian-British billionaire Mohamed Mansour. The 2025 expansion club placed first in the Western Conference this year.
Chicago Fire are also said to be pursuing the global talent as well.
The Fire were in the race to acquire Kevin De Bruyne after he left Manchester City, after they were unsuccessful in their attempt to sign Neymar before he returned to Santos.
The club, which is owned by the flamboyant Joe Mansueto, reportedly tried to sign Salah prior to his contract renewal in April, according to The Athletic.
Miami are also anticipated to be linked to Salah following their huge victory over the weekend.
