Arsenal defender, Cristhian Mosquera has reportedly informed the Gunners that they already have a Lamine Yamal in their squad.
Since making his debut at Camp Nou at the age of 15, the Barcelona teenage star has enthralled people all around the world.
In addition to winning the European Championship with Spain as well as La Liga and Copa del Rey titles with Barcelona, Yamal also placed second to Ousmane Dembele at the 2025 Ballon d’Or awards.
Mosquera was blown away by one of Arsenal’s emerging talents even though he only joined the club during the summer transfer window from Valencia.

The defender has obviously taken a quick fancy at Max Dowman, who made his Premier League debut for the Gunners at the young age of 15.
Mosquera Claims Dowman Is Arsenal’s Yamal
Mosquera told The Athletic that he was taken aback to learn Dowman’s age and that it made him feel like he shares traits with Barcelona’s wonderkid.
“I don’t mean to compare, but his style and way of playing is like Lamine Yamal. His movements are Lamine-esque,” he said.
“I didn’t have him on my radar and when I got to Singapore, he was already training and playing. When they told me he was 15, I couldn’t believe it.
“He really is an incredible player, and I think he’s going to be world-class. You see 17- and 18-year-olds like Myles (Lewis-Skelly) or Ethan (Nwaneri) and they play like they’re 30, like they’ve been playing football their whole lives. It’s incredible.”
