Chelsea and Manchester United are reportedly pondering a potential swap deal involving Christopher Nkunku and Alejandro Garnacho.
According to The Evening Standard, Chelsea and United are presently examining the feasibility of a potential move that would see them go in different directions this summer.
Both players are anticipated to depart their respective clubs during the current transfer window.
After starting just nine Premier League games under Enzo Maresca this season and scoring three goals, Nkunku’s future at Stamford Bridge has long been in question.

Although the France international missed the UEFA Conference League semi-finals due to injury and was not used as a substitute in the final, he was a consistent player for Chelsea in the domestic cups and Conference League, scoring 14 goals in 43 games overall across all competitions.
Juventus were among the numerous teams linked to Nkunku’s signing to date, although Bayern Munich were thought to be a long-term target.
Although, they aren’t thought to have officially expressed interest at that point, United were rumored to have been pondering an approach for the former RB Leipzig forward last summer.
After acquiring Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha from Wolves for £62.5 million this summer, the Red Devils are still searching for major attacking additions under Ruben Amorim.
Although United lost out to Chelsea on a £30 million bid for Ipswich striker Liam Delap, they are now rumored to have made an enhanced second offer for Brentford talisman Bryan Mbeumo valued over £60 million.
