Foremost football team, Buruj Sports Academy on Thursday morning took on Synergy Ultimate FC in a friendly game watched by visiting officials of German Bundesliga side Wolfsburg FC.
The match, played at the Legacy Pitch of the National Stadum in Lagos served as a trial for some of the Academy’s brightest prospects who are likely to move to Europe.
The Germans, visibly impressed by the quality of talents on display, praised the management of the club and pledged to monitor some of the players discovered at the Academy.
Buruj Sports Academy are also using the match as trial for upcoming competitions including the Manchester and Welsh Super Cup in July and August.
