Ben White is reportedly set to miss the rest of Arsenal’s season due to a probable MCL knee injury he sustained on Sunday against West Ham.
Over the past three weeks, the right-back has been a crucial member of the team, helping them win Premier League games and advance to the UEFA Champions League final.
White had been starting because of the circumstances surrounding Jurrien Timber. Due to a groin injury, the Dutch international was substituted against Everton in March and has not played since.
Arteta Unsure Of Timber’s Fitness
According to Football London, Arteta confirmed ahead of the clash with West Ham that the situation was unclear as to whether he and Mikel Merino, also out recovering from a fractured foot, would feature again this season. “I don’t know,” he said.
